Farmer-to-Farmer Food Safety and Quality

Farmer-to-Farmer Food Safety and Quality

Bangladesh, Egypt, and Lebanon face considerable food safety and quality challenges. To increase productivity and profitability in the agriculture sectors, the USAID Farmer-to-Farmer Food Safety and Quality (F2F-FSQ) program sent volunteer experts to support businesses with their food safety and quality practices. Volunteers assisted and trained businesses and individuals on good agricultural, veterinary, and manufacturing practices in order to improve the local food safety protocols and quality assurance systems, from field-to-fork. The program also mentored our returned volunteers on  sharing their experiences with personal and professional networks.
