Tanzania Dairy Productivity Challenge Project

Improving dairy productivity through innovations

The Tanzania AgResults Dairy Productivity Challenge Project will run up to four pay-for-performance prize competitions for dairy input suppliers to incentivize the private sector to overcome market barriers by investing in innovative research and delivery solutions to improve the lives of smallholder farmers

The AgResults Initiative (“AgResults”) is a multilateral initiative financed jointly by the governments of Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation that uses Pay-for-Results prize competitions to incentivize the private sector to overcome agricultural market barriers by investing in innovative research and delivery solutions that improve the lives of smallholder farmers.The Tanzania AgResults Dairy Productivity Challenge Project will focus specifically on dairy related companies selling inputs related to parasite control, animal nutrition, vaccines and improved genetics.
